Harborview Medical Center's Emergency Department is looking for highly qualified

Advance Registered Nurse Practitioner

or

Physician Assistant

to join our level 1 trauma center ED. Under general administrative supervision of the Assistant Administrator of ARNPs & PA-Cs Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: but not limited to: Providing clinical expertise to patients and their families. A resource person for health care providers. Participation in research and teaching programs. General independence and decision-making responsibility. (Under the general guidance of the attending physicians, chief resident, and department Nurse Manager). Guidelines include general policy procedures and practice guidelines established by the department and Harborview Medical Center, as well as appropriate professional and technical manuals. Work is performed in the Emergency Department 24 Hour/7 days a week.

SCHEDULE: 90% Night shift

REQUIREMENTS: ARNP’s: Have/Obtain a Washington state Registered Nurse (or MSL) and Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner Licenses to practice in the state of Washington. PA’s: Have/Obtain a license to practice as a Physician Assistant in the state of Washington and ARNP’s Board Certification by ANCC or AAPP PA’s Board Certification from NCCAP ARNP’s Graduated from accredited school of nursing program PA’s: Graduated from accredited program for Physician Assistant studies.
