This senior leadership role offers the opportunity to shape the firm’s market presence while collaborating closely with operations and project teams. Key Responsibilities
Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including commercial, institutional, and large-scale construction projects. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to drive repeat and referral business. Partner with senior leadership to create and implement business development strategies, market positioning, and growth plans. Collaborate with project management and operations teams to ensure proposals, budgets, and schedules align with client expectations. Lead proposal development, contract negotiations, and bid strategy for high-value projects. Analyze market trends, identify emerging opportunities, and develop actionable strategies to increase market share. Mentor and guide team members in sales, client management, and business development processes. Qualifications
Proven experience in business development, client relations, or sales within the construction industry, preferably with commercial or large-scale projects. Strong relationship-building, negotiation, and presentation skills. Strategic thinking with a results-oriented approach to driving growth and revenue. Excellent communication and leadership abilities, with experience managing teams. Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, business, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered. Why This Role
