Pharmaceutical Sales Representative – Diabetes – Northern CA/Bay Area

IQVIA, in partnership with Amphastar Pharmaceuticals, is seeking a Pharmaceutical Sales Representative – Diabetes to promote products in the Endocrinology/Diabetes space in the Northern California Bay Area (SF/Sacramento/Oakland/Modesto). Responsibilities

Manage customer relationships in a defined geographic territory to strengthen the company brand Meet or exceed assigned sales volume objectives Develop territory call plans Coordinate appropriate support resources to maximize and strengthen customer relationships Manage selling processes including forecasting, client starts, product starts, productivity and client relations Maintain sales prospect lists/funnels to achieve sales volume targets Maintain a detailed customer database within Salesforce CRM Design and implement Quarterly Business Plans for the assigned geography Attend technical and sales training programs to further development competencies Manage company expenses within policy and defined budget Provide timely feedback to management regarding market trends, competitor activity, and product/service improvements Demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all customer/company interactions; adhere to patient confidentiality as per HIPAA regulation Required Qualifications

4-year degree from an accredited college or university (Required) Minimum 2 years of pharmaceutical sales experience with documented sales success (Preferred) Endocrinology/Diabetes experience (Preferred) Valid driver’s license and current auto insurance (Required) Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time (Required) Exceptional verbal and written communication skills Demonstrated competencies: Action Oriented, Drive for Results, Sales Persuasion, Dedication, Perseverance, Ingenuity, Adaptability Ability to manage and develop an assigned territory with minimal supervision Compensation and Benefits

The potential base pay range for this role is 85,000–90,000 USD annually. Actual base pay offered may vary based on factors including qualifications, location, and schedule. Depending on the position, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to benefits.
