CenterWell Senior Primary Care provides proactive, preventive care to seniors, including wellness visits, physical exams, chronic condition management, screenings, minor injury treatment and more. Our integrated care teams spend more time with patients to deliver compassionate, personalized care that improves health outcomes. CenterWell Senior Primary Care is part of Humana and operates across multiple states under two brands: CenterWell and Conviva. The Physician Lead serves as a health-care professional and leader of a team of clinicians in a designated market. The PL handles a variety of health-related problems and educates patients and families on wellness, prevention, and early detection. The PL is responsible for executing the clinical strategy through management of their own patient panel and those of clinicians they lead. Reports directly to the Market CMO and is responsible for administrative oversight and clinical outcomes within the Market. Responsibilities

Administrative oversight and clinical outcomes determined by the Market's Clinical / Operational Leadership Direct clinical care with a portion of time spent on administrative duties related to oversight of clinical provision of care Collaborate with Market CMO and Operational Leadership to advance the model of care, create profit-improvement initiatives, design operational implementations, and contribute to strategic intent Oversee other clinicians (Physicians, ARNPs, PAs) including maintaining collaborative/supervisory agreements per state protocols Manage panel responsibilities, provide education on clinical protocols/disease prevalence, and ensure quality care Coordinate with compliance and support activities such as schedule templates, coverage, and addressing daily issues Lead in recruiting, interviewing, patient retention, and marketing activities as required Serve as a community representative in media and press activities Maintain confidentiality of patient information and medical records; order studies and tests as needed; participate as a back-up on-call physician Prescribe medical treatment and refer patients to specialists as needed Qualifications

Current and unrestricted medical license or willing to obtain in the state of SC Graduate of an accredited MD or DO program Board Certification or eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Geriatric Medicine (preferred) Active and unrestricted DEA license Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong interpersonal abilities; committed to an integrated team-based care model Willingness to learn/adapt to value-based care settings; patient-facing role with TB screening requirements Proficient with basic computer skills and EMR Preferred Qualifications Active and unrestricted DEA license Medicare and Medicaid Provider Numbers 3–5 years of directly applicable experience (preferred) Experience managing Medicare Advantage panels and understanding of value-based care Knowledge of Medicare guidelines, HEDIS indicators, coding and documentation in value-based environments Technological savviness and strong problem-solving and collaboration skills Clinical program design and management knowledge; strong communication across channels Benefits & Other Information

This range reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full-time employment and may vary by location and individual qualifications. Eligible for a bonus incentive plan.
