You will work to maximize in-app marketing and elevate the everyday experience for Uber riders globally, crafting and testing content and messaging for our 100M+ active users. You will partner with teams across Product, Marketing, Research, Design, and Engineering to enhance how users understand and engage with Uber's core offerings (e.g., Uber XL, Uber Comfort, Uber Moto, and beyond). You will bring a creative, user-first mindset with a curiosity for data and experimentation. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role where you will shape product narratives, contribute to go-to-market strategies, and run insight-driven tests to validate what works for diverse global audiences. What You'll Do
In-app content roadmap: Own the rider experimentation roadmap for in-app marketing channels. Develop different types of content across static imagery, copy, and videos to drive product adoption based on rider insights. Identifying new content formats: Test content of different formats (e.g., short-form video, user-generated content, testimonials, social proof, thumb-stopping content) to determine what resonates with riders. Scaling content globally: Apply learnings from experiments to scale campaigns to markets worldwide, tailoring content to key markets. Seasonal moments: Identify important seasonal moments for mobility and relevant products, then market them to drive usage. Content creation: Contribute to content creation yourself with copy ideas and design ideas (e.g., assets in Figma or Canva), while coordinating with agency partners as needed. Translating best practices: Bring external content testing ideas to life as in-app experiments; act as in-app marketing expert to improve other marketers’ campaigns. Basic Qualifications
3+ years of experience in marketing, especially creating content for products 2+ years of experience in consumer product marketing Preferred Qualifications
Penchant for data: Ability to gather and translate data into insights to drive growth Storytelling: Craft compelling narratives across touchpoints and match messages to mediums Self-starter: Action-oriented, collaborative, and capable of simplifying complex ideas Grittiness: Willingness to roll up sleeves and persevere Execution-oriented: Strong project management with attention to detail Experimentation: Experience designing and interpreting experiments Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication; comfortable presenting to leadership Insight-minded: Deep understanding of market, customers, and competition Creative trends: Knowledge of emerging content formats in marketing Copywriting: Ability to develop consumer-friendly copy quickly Design: Proficiency with tools like Figma or Canva for testing visuals AI: Growth-minded use of AI to improve efficiency and accelerate content creation Compensation and Benefits
For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range is USD 108,000 to USD 120,000 per year. You will be eligible for Uber's bonus program and may be offered an equity award and other compensation. You will also be eligible for various benefits.
