Uber Uber is looking for a strategic consumer leader to join our dynamic and fast-paced team. As the Group Product Manager for Rider Growth, you will be responsible for driving new user growth and resurrection globally. You'll figure out our global growth strategy, align with leaders across tech, business teams and marketing, and drive the tech strategy to optimize our growth funnels and acquire new user segments around the world. In this role, you'll work closely with Product Design, Data Science, Engineering, Strategy & Ops, and other partners across Uber\'s businesses and geographies. You will lead with deep customer compassion, relying on data and UXR to make informed decisions grounded in strong product intuition. You\'ll be both creative and bring deep expertise in growth and consumer product to the table, as well as analytically rigorous, driving experimentation and knowing your metrics. You will operate with a GM mindset, helping galvanize the rider growth strategy for our core mobility business. What the Candidate Will Do
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Design, Data Science, Engineering and Ops, to identify growth opportunities, develop product initiatives, and implement data-driven experiments to improve key growth metrics Effectively present and communicate strategy, implementation, and growth plans to various collaborators ranging from business audiences to senior leadership Distill the vision and strategy for the team to generate enthusiasm across cross-functional partners and executive leadership Anticipate and remove obstacles that slow down or prevent us from delivering on operational, product, and program objectives Basic Qualifications
8+ years of Product Management experience delivering highly successful and innovative products with experience in systems thinking, analytics and experiment design; solid understanding of software development processes and concepts Ph.D., M.S. or Bachelors in Math, Economics, Bioinformatics, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, or other quantitative field Extensive experience setting and delivering on a strategy you crafted, with accountability for outcomes Customer obsession; ability to tackle complex product challenges and create elegant, simple solutions for users Driver mindset; action-oriented, collaborative, able to disambiguate and deliver; willing to roll up sleeves High standards across contributions and teammates; continuous desire to grow and learn Preferred Qualifications
Consumer growth experience with a track record of delivering innovative products Experience building and leading scaled businesses, ownership of business performance metrics Passion for Uber\'s mission and the hybrid technology/operations nature Experience leading geographically distributed cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment Compensation and Benefits
For New York, NY-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$252,000 per year - USD$280,000 per year. For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$252,000 per year - USD$280,000 per year. For all US locations, you will be eligible to participate in Uber\'s bonus program, and may be offered an equity award & other types of comp. You will also be eligible for various benefits.
