Now Hiring an Unarmed Security Professional in Downtown San Francisco, CA Area. 2 days ago Be among the first 25 applicants. Salary: $27.50 per hour. Multiple Shifts Available. Weekend and holiday availability is required. Active California BSIS Guard Card is needed. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in security or customer service fields.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Service & Assistance:
Provide exceptional customer service to all visitors, employees, contractors, and vendors, creating a welcoming and secure environment.
Offer professional escorts and assistance to employees as needed, demonstrating a proactive and helpful approach.
Security Operations & Response:
Respond promptly and effectively to emergencies, following established protocols to ensure the safety of all occupants.
Ensure that all client KPIs are consistently met, contributing to overall client satisfaction.
Actively work to ensure the safety and security of all individuals, property, and assets within the facility.
Regularly check and monitor security systems, reporting any anomalies or malfunctions.
Conduct regular patrols of the facility to identify and address any security risks or concerns.
Policy Enforcement & Coordination:
Strictly enforce all established security policies and procedures, ensuring compliance and maintaining a secure environment.
Coordinate effectively with other internal departments and external agencies as necessary.
Physical Requirements:
Must be capable of standing and walking for extended periods throughout shifts.
Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 40 lbs.
Qualifications
Age & Education:
Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
Possession of a high school diploma or equivalent is required.
Experience & Licensing:
Possession of a valid State BSIS California Guard Card is mandatory.
Successful completion of a pre-employment background check and drug test is required.
Previous security experience is essential.
Previous customer service experience is required.
Skills & Attributes:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions in emergencies.
Solid knowledge of security protocols and procedures.
Strong interpersonal skills with good critical thinking and time management.
Team player with a strong commitment to service and safety.
