Now Hiring - Security Site Supervisor in Downtown San Francisco, CA Area! $70,000.00 Annually (Day Shift) Weekend and holiday availability is required, if needed. Security Site Supervisor: Monday - Friday, As Needed. We are seeking a highly motivated and energetic security professional with exceptional customer service skills to join our team as a Security Site Supervisor. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in high-end customer service, superior interpersonal abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and proven leadership in people management. This role involves the comprehensive management, motivation, and training of a team of customer service-focused security professionals within a prestigious corporate building located in downtown San Francisco. Success in this position hinges on exceptional oral and written communication skills, effective leadership, and the critical ability to maintain composure and make sound decisions under pressure. Salaried position so ability to work beyond regular hours and proximity to the site will be considered. Key Responsibilities: Establish clear performance goals for the security team and consistently monitor their progress. Provide regular coaching and constructive feedback to foster continuous improvement in service quality and team productivity. Oversee daily security operations and manage all security personnel, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to protocols. Provide comprehensive training and ongoing guidance to the security team, ensuring they are well-equipped to handle all responsibilities. Operational Management & Emergency Response: Act as the primary point of contact and lead for all emergency situations, ensuring swift and effective response and resolution. Ensure that all client KPIs are consistently met and exceeded, demonstrating a commitment to service excellence. Uphold the highest standards for the safety and security of all individuals, property, and assets within the facility. Regularly inspect and verify the functionality of all security systems and equipment. Conduct thorough and regular patrols of the facility to identify and address any security risks or concerns. Policy & Procedure Enforcement: Develop, enforce, and regularly update security policies and procedures to ensure the highest level of safety and compliance. Coordinate effectively with other internal departments and external agencies as needed to maintain a cohesive and responsive security environment. Customer Service & Support: Provide professional escorts and assistance to employees and visitors as required, demonstrating a proactive and helpful approach to service. Physical Requirements: Must be capable of standing and walking for extended periods throughout shifts. Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 40 lbs. Qualifications: Experience & Licensing: Prior experience in a security supervisory and/or managerial role is essential; demonstrated experience in customer service, ideally in a high-end or corporate environment. Possession of a valid state security guard card is mandatory. Skills & Attributes: Exceptional communication skills, strong leadership, calm under pressure, comprehensive knowledge of security protocols, strong interpersonal skills, teamwork, and time management. Education & Pre-Employment: A Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, business, or a closely related field is preferred, but not strictly required with equivalent experience. Successful completion of a pre-employment background check and drug test is required. Must be at least 21 years of age. Security D licensing (Require). Valid Driver's License and clean driving history (Require). High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred. Minimum of three years of previous security supervision or leadership experience required. Flexible/on-call schedule availability. Professional demeanor and appearance. Excellent communication skills (verbal and written). Must be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience utilizing security equipment and protocols required. Must be able to pass pre-employment screening (background and drug).
