This role serves as Chief Technologist to maintain development, test, and production of ServiceNow environments and supports ongoing O&M activities and projects for the USCETCOM CTIS Program. Responsibilities
Serve as Chief Technologist to maintain development, test, & production of ServiceNow environments Support ongoing O&M activities and projects for USCETCOM CTIS Program Responsible for ServiceNow system maintenance, implementation, and integration to include: Workflow development Bug fixes, enhancements, and upgrades Implement ServiceNow system solutions in a Linux environment Monitor system stability to prevent service degradation or interruption Conduct risk assessments to identify potential gaps Assist with configuration/maintenance of ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management modules Develop dashboards, KPIs, and reports to provide visibility into portfolio performance Work with the CSI Lead and evaluate impacts of recommended initiatives and projects Drive delivery of advanced ITSM processes and tooling solutions Assist in delivering best practices for the Enterprise to include: ITIL, Agile, and PMBOK frameworks Maintain customer relationships in support of lifecycle replacement of IT hardware Work directly with end users to resolve support issues within ServiceNow Provide support to end users and stakeholders Qualifications/Requirements
BS in computer science, information systems, or a related field 5+ years of senior-level technologist experience 5+ years' experience as a ServiceNow Systems Engineer Hands-on experience with: Angular JS, Jelly scripts and Restful API webservices Understanding of Incident, Problem, Change, and Knowledge management/request fulfillment Experience implementing and supporting ITOM and ITAM applications to include: Discovery, asset management, service mapping pattens, and event management Knowledge and experience supporting relational databases such as MariaDB (installation, optimization, indexing and coding) Must have the following certifications (or willing to complete within 6 months of starting): ServiceNow Certified System Administrator OR ServiceNow Certified System Engineer ITIL v4 Foundation Certification Applicable DoD 8140 or DoD 8570 Certification ServiceNow ITSM Implementer certification (preferred) May be required to travel up to 10% during the year to support exercises, including OCONUS locations Required: Active DoD Secret Clearance (TS/SCI preferred) Travel & Clearance
