Product Manager II, YouTube Recommendations Activation and Growth At Google, we put our users first. The YouTube Recommendations team enhances personalization to drive engagement, helping users discover lasting interests and connect with creators while supporting a healthy ecosystem for creators of all sizes. Responsibilities
Lead our Activation initiative, a key effort to help users form various lasting interests on YouTube. Drive the understanding of user visits by partnering with Data Scientists to identify and execute high-leverage opportunities for daily engagement. Collaborate across YouTube to define and execute the overall growth strategy, identifying new opportunities to maintain growth. Analyze YouTube growth trends with Data Science to diagnose emerging viewer behaviors and translate insights into actionable opportunities. Develop AI/ML models that use deep content understanding to spark new interests and encourage re-engagement with novel topics and creators. Minimum qualifications
Bachelor\'s degree or equivalent practical experience. 5 years of experience in product management or related technical role. 2 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch (e.g., ideation to execution, end-to-end, 0 to 1, etc). 2 years of experience working with Machine learning or AI systems. Preferred qualifications
2 years of experience in data science or engineering. Experience in growth focused efforts and teams. Experience with previous recommendation systems. Understanding of core software engineering concepts and principles. Compensation and location
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $156,000-$229,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location; recruiter can share the specific range for your location during the hiring process. Compensation details listed reflect base salary only. Work location
