Managing Director
to lead and scale the Houston contract staffing business focused on the oil & gas sector. This role is ideal for a proven staffing leader who thrives in both business development and operational leadership. The first priority will be driving new business development and expanding client relationships, followed by building and scaling a high-performing team. Key Responsibilities
Lead the Houston contract staffing business with full P&L ownership. Drive new business development across the oil & gas industry, expanding the client base with major operators, EPCs, and service companies. Develop and execute a growth strategy that scales the existing contract staffing team and revenue base. Actively manage client relationships and ensure top-tier service delivery. Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales and delivery team. Collaborate with senior global leadership to align U.S. strategy with international business objectives. Monitor market trends and identify new opportunities for growth and expansion. Foster a culture of accountability, performance, and entrepreneurial spirit. Qualifications
7+ years of experience in staffing/recruitment, with a strong focus on contract staffing. Proven track record of building and scaling a staffing business, ideally within oil & gas, engineering, or related technical sectors. Strong business development background with established client relationships in the Houston oil & gas market. Demonstrated leadership experience managing and growing teams. Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to be hands-on and “in the weeds” while also executing long-term strategy. Strong financial acumen with experience managing P&L. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills. What’s Offered
