Overview
Job Title:
Sales Director - Manufacturing & Supply Chain Services Belcan is seeking a Regional Sales Representative to lead growth across our Manufacturing and Supply Chain Support verticals in the United States. This role can be remote from anywhere in the U.S., with preference for candidates located in or near Cincinnati, OH due to customer concentration. The ideal candidate brings a mix of technical service sales experience, strong customer relationship building, and a deep understanding of engineering services such as factory support, supplier development, digital manufacturing tools, and operations optimization. Pay:
$140,000-160,000
per year with up to
20% bonus potential
• Location: Remote with 50% travel • Shift: 1st Shift • Employment Type: Direct, Full Time
Responsibilities
Build and manage a strategic pipeline of opportunities related to manufacturing engineering support (NPI, process optimization, factory transitions).
Lead quality engineering and supplier development (FAI, APQP, PPAP, root cause analysis).
Oversee supply chain services (resilience, delivery assurance, compliance).
Promote digital manufacturing technologies (PLM, MES, IIoT enablement).
Own and grow a defined territory by generating leads, qualifying prospects, and closing business aligned with Belcan's engineering service offerings.
Conduct customer discovery meetings and present solutions tailored to client needs in engineering, production, and operations environments.
Collaborate with internal delivery, technical, and executive teams to scope, price, and present value-driven proposals.
Represent Belcan at industry events, supplier summits, and professional networking venues.
Maintain visibility into regional market trends, customer requirements, and competitor positioning to support market planning and solution development.
Qualifications
7+ years of B2B sales experience in a technical services or engineering consulting environment.
Proven success selling into manufacturing, engineering, or supply chain functions.
Understanding of engineering workflows, particularly in aerospace, defense, or automotive industries.
Strong business acumen with ability to interpret technical requirements and align them to service-based solutions.
Excellent presentation, proposal development, and client-facing communication skills.
Self-driven with a consultative sales approach and a track record of building long-term customer relationships.
Proficiency in Microsoft 365, CRM tools, and virtual collaboration platforms.
Bachelors degree preferred (Engineering, Business, or related field).
U.S. Citizenship required due to the nature of our client engagements.
Preferred Experience
Familiarity with services such as engineering support for PLM tools (e.g., Teamcenter, Windchill).
Quality system implementation and compliance with AS9100, ISO 9001, etc.
Supplier quality and delivery recovery services.
Experience with digital transformation in manufacturing settings.
Prior success in growing new territories or launching service offerings in new verticals.
