The Position

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Director, MEP Equipment Deployment to lead the strategy, execution, and governance of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) equipment deployment for a large-scale, single-campus data center build. This senior leadership role will be responsible for setting deployment standards, managing cross-functional execution teams, and ensuring mission-critical systems are delivered with precision, efficiency, and reliability. The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise with executive-level leadership, strategic planning, and stakeholder management. Responsibilities

Define the overall deployment strategy for MEP equipment across the full campus lifecycle. Establish best practices, processes, and KPIs for equipment delivery, installation, and commissioning. Drive alignment between design, construction, commissioning, and operations teams to meet long-term campus objectives. Serve as an expert stakeholder on deployment risk management, compliance, and escalation resolution. Lead a team of project-focused MEP deployment managers and coordinators across the campus. Contribute to procurement strategies and vendor partnerships to ensure scalability, cost efficiency, and reliability. Provide oversight of schedules, budgets, and resource allocation for MEP deployment activities. Ensure consistent execution across all phases of the deployment program. Oversee major mechanical (chillers, cooling towers, CRAH/CRAC), electrical (switchgear, UPS, generators), and plumbing systems deployment. Support the review of critical design decisions, testing protocols, and commissioning plans. Champion innovation and standardization in equipment deployment methodologies. Act as a liaison between project leadership, design consultants, contractors, and operations teams. Deliver regular program updates to stakeholders with clear risk/mitigation strategies. Build trusted relationships with external vendors and contractors to ensure long-term collaboration. Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering, Construction Management, or related field. 8+ years of experience in MEP project management, with at least 3+ years focused on mission-critical data center environments or comparable large-scale infrastructure. Proven track record managing deployment of complex mechanical and electrical equipment. The Details
