Overview

Finatal is partnering with a lower-mid market private equity firm to recruit a CFO for a high growth industrial services business. With $150m in revenue and a mandate to scale, this is a hands-on, high-impact CFO role. You will lead the build-out of finance — strengthening FP&A, upgrading systems and processes, and shaping a high-performing team fit for growth. Beyond the numbers, you’ll be a visible partner to the CEO and sponsor, driving performance in a business with diverse field service functions where collaboration across the operation is essential. Key Responsibilities

Own annual budgeting and forecasting process, providing insightful financial analysis, and identifying opportunities for cost optimization and revenue growth Oversee the timely and accurate preparation of financial statements, ensuring compliance in line with regulatory requirements Willing to roll up your sleeves to develop high-performing finance and accounting teams Collaborate with the executive team and sponsor to develop short- and long-term financial strategy aligned with the investment thesis Provide clear reporting to the Board, sponsor, and lenders, ensuring transparency and performance against key KPIs Drive post-acquisition integration and establish robust lender reporting to ensure transparency, and alignment with sponsor expectations Monitor and manage cash flow, working capital, and liquidity to ensure the business\'s financial stability and to optimize capital allocation Monitor, manage and maintain fleet of assets (e.g. asset utilization, per client, route and site) Qualifications / Requirements

A track record in PE backed companies, within industrial services Experience scaling finance functions in companies $150m revenue and beyond Demonstrated experience professionalizing finance functions Experience with M&A execution and integration Hands-on, collaborative leadership style with the ability to work closely across operational teams In northern NJ, open to relocation or regular travel Extensive asset, maintenance and utilization experience Seniority level
