Senior Director of Operations - Janitorial Facility Services role at UG2. The Senior Director of Operations will lead and oversee janitorial facilities service operations across the Northeast Region, managing a broad portfolio of accounts and ensuring exceptional service delivery in maintenance, janitorial, grounds, and office services. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong strategic vision, operational excellence, and expertise in implementing both preventative and prescriptive maintenance programs and comprehensive janitorial strategies in the higher education and healthcare industry. Responsibilities

Lead and manage janitorial operations and vendor relationships across multiple facilities in the Northeast Region. Serve as the senior executive for customer facilities, ensuring high-quality and cost-efficient service delivery. Oversee the performance of the service delivery team and external subcontractors, maintaining adherence to the highest standards. Collaborate with UG2’s regional and corporate leadership teams to facilitate seamless account transitions and ensure alignment with organizational goals. Meet and exceed contractual SLAs, maintain KPIs, and present regular business reviews to client/customer teams. Partner with UG2 corporate departments, including procurement, finance, payroll, and human resources, for integrated and effective operations. Establish standards, protocols, and reporting mechanisms to ensure operational excellence and financial performance across assigned accounts. Conduct and lead regular team meetings to address operational requirements, project updates, and strategic initiatives. Lead strategic planning discussions and business development opportunities. Qualifications

Requirements (Knowledge, Abilities, Skills, And Education And/or Experience) • Bachelor’s degree in Facility Management, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent professional education and experience. • Minimum of 10 years of leadership experience in custodial management, facilities operations, or related fields; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Preferred Qualifications

Demonstrated success managing integrated facility services across a diverse portfolio of facilities. Strong business acumen, including expertise in financial modeling, customer satisfaction metrics, and strategic planning. Effective leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage both union and non-union teams. Comprehensive understanding of financial principles, including P&L management and budgeting. Proven ability to drive operational efficiency and client satisfaction in a multi-site environment. Willingness to travel within and outside the Northeast Region up to 80% of the time. Professional certifications (e.g., PE, CFM, CHFM, CPE, CEM, CHCP, CHESP, MBA) are highly desirable. Working Conditions

Ability to lift up to 45 pounds. Attention to detail, organization skills, and the ability to work in various physical positions, including standing, sitting, and walking. About UG2
