CFO

– Charlotte NC (north CLT area) The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will report to the President and maintain full responsibility for all accounting and finance aspects of this multilocation restaurant group. He or she will oversee a small team and manage strategic financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, including preparation of monthly financial reporting and presentation to investors. The CFO will play a critical role in supporting growth initiatives, driving profitability and ensuring financial compliance across multiple locations. Responsibilities

Partner with CEO and executive team to develop and execute short and long-term financial strategies, providing financial insights and recommendations to support sound business decisions and plans for expansion Lead financial planning and analysis (FP&A) to support strategic initiatives Manage treasury and cash flow, working capital and capital expenditures Oversee all accounting, budgeting / forecasting and financial reporting functions, ensuring timely and accurate monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements Develop a small corporate finance and accounting team, instilling a culture of accountability and transparency and implementing continuous improvement Manage external financial relationships with CPAs, advisors, investors / bankers and insurance providers Oversee tax planning, preparation and compliance Monitor financial performance of individual restaurant locations, identifying opportunities for improvement, collaborating with operations and HR to align financial goals and operations, maintain cost control measures and implement operational efficiencies Requirements

Bachelors in Accounting or Finance – MBA or CPA preferred 10+ years of progressive financial leadership experience Industry experience in multi-unit hospitality, retail or restaurant operations (strong understanding of industry financial metrics) Demonstrated experience managing financial operations with an organization in the $50M - $75M revenue range Expertise in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting with excellent communication and leadership skills Seniority level
