Position Details
We are seeking a fellowship-trained Breast Surgeon for our NAPBC accredited Breast Center. The UHS Breast Center has state of the art equipment with digital breast tomosynthesis, digital mammography, ultrasound, bone density, MRI, and stereotactic, MRI and ultrasound-guided biopsy. The multi-disciplinary care is relieved by a team including surgeons, radiologists, plastic surgeons, medical oncologists, radiation oncologists and a fellowship trained oncologist surgical breast pathologist. This team gives women the ability to have rapid specialty consults when necessary. Must be board certified/eligible and completed an ACGME accredited program. Support services include dedicated genetic counseling, Lymphedema services and nurse navigation. The ideal candidate has outstanding training in Breast Surgery, a nice rapport with patients and colleagues and is looking for an opportunity to make an impact on a community. This surgeon will not take general or Trauma call. UHS Medical Group is a progressive multi-specialty group with a large primary care base, consisting of over 540 healthcare providers in 30+ medical and surgical specialties in multiple locations. The group is affiliated with United Health Services Hospitals, the regional leader in healthcare. There is a strong market presence in the region and an excellent referral base.
