Responsibilities

Our Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner gets to pick their own schedule and create a custom work-life balance. Typically, our Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners work between Mondays – Fridays somewhere between 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM. Assess patient’s mental and physical status based on symptoms. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, including psychiatrists, psychologists, or nursing staff, to develop, implement, or evaluate treatment plans. Consult with psychiatrists or other professionals when unusual or complex cases are encountered. Develop and implement treatment plans. Distinguish between physiologically and psychologically based disorders and diagnose appropriately. Prescribe appropriate medications for physical and mental health issues. Plan and institute a course of treatment demonstrating knowledge of drug action, interaction, and reactions. Prescribe or recommend medications according to existing core privileges. Offers a variety of part-time and full-time options under a W2 fee-for-service financial arrangement. Packages can be customized towards every clinician’s needs, including a combination of the items listed below. Competitive remuneration package - potential income range starting at part-time with $45,000 and full-time up to $195,000 per year. MSN-Nurse Practitioner Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner or Nurse Practitioner with Post Masters Psych certification PMHNP Active state license with DEA or DEA in process Long term care / short term rehab experience is a plus
