Save Job

At the heart of our mission is a deep belief in the power of early childhood education to shape lives, strengthen communities, and inspire bright futures.

We're now seeking a transformational Centre Manager to lead a turnaround journey at Kenmore Hills Early Learning . This is not your typical Centre Manager role. It’s a rare opportunity to lead meaningful change — from reenergising a dedicated team, to rebuilding family and community relationships, to reestablishing the centre as a place of excellence and belonging. We're looking for a leader who thrives in times of change, someone who’s as confident mentoring on the floor as they are setting direction in the office. If you're hands-on, community-minded, and ready to make a lasting impact, this is your moment. What Makes This Role Unique

Step into a pivotal leadership role at a centre ready for meaningful transformation where your drive and leadership will directly shape the future. Take full ownership of a service in transition, supported by a leadership team that’s invested in your success. Lead a cultural and operational shift that puts children, families, and educators at the heart of everything. Rebuild strong community partnerships and become a recognised, trusted leader in the local area. Work with people who genuinely care about the centre, the team, and the lives being shaped every day. What You Will Be Doing

Lead the centre’s transformation with clarity, compassion, and confidence from vision to execution. Reenergise and mentor a team of educators, fostering a high-trust, high-performance culture. Create strong foundations: build systems, drive consistency, and elevate the quality of programs and practices. Deliver inclusive, engaging learning experiences aligned with the EYLF and National Quality Standards. Build meaningful, trusting relationships with families through honest communication and care. Actively reconnect the centre with the broader community, becoming a visible and valued presence. Manage daily operations strategically and efficiently, overseeing compliance, staffing, budgeting, enrolments, and more. Set new standards of excellence and lead others to rise with you. What We Are Looking For

A Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (a Bachelor’s is highly desirable). Proven success in a leadership role within the early childhood education sector. In-depth knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS). A current Blue Card and First Aid Certificate. A growth mindset with a passion for mentoring and developing others. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a trustworthy and approachable personality. A proactive, solutions-focused approach to operational and people challenges. A strong sense of accountability and a proven track record of purposeful, values-driven leadership. What You Will Gain

Be part of an organisation that truly prioritises the wellbeing and growth of both staff and children. Receive a competitive salary package, including performance bonuses that recognise your achievements. Access leadership coaching, continuous professional development, and networking opportunities to fuel your inspiration and growth. Work alongside an experienced, people-first leadership team that values transparency, collaboration, and integrity. Are You Ready to Lead with Purpose?

This is more than a job. It’s a rare opportunity to make a lasting impact. If you're ready to lead a centre with purpose, transform from the ground up, and create something you’re proud of, we’d love to hear from you. Please submit an application that reflects who you are beyond your professional experience.
