As the Manager, FP&A - Oncology Program Finance you will be part of the FP&A team in Foster City, CA. In this important role, you will partner with Clinical Operations to support clinical spend. You will work closely with the Oncology Therapeutic Area Clinical Ops team, driving the forecast and budget process, performing month-end close, helping with decision support and analysis, and producing management reporting. Responsibilities

Establish strong business partnerships with the Clinical Operations team to provide comprehensive financial support and ongoing analytics for clinical study spend. Lead the month-end close and Latest Estimate forecasting processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Drive development of meaningful financial analyses and create effective presentations to communicate conclusions and recommendations to senior leadership. Drive development and implementation of key process improvement initiatives. Proactively engage with Finance colleagues and business partners to develop continuous process improvements to planning, analyses and reporting. Support financial analysis and reporting for Development collaborations with external companies. Monitor and ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies and procedures, including Financial Disclosures for regulatory filings. Ad hoc analyses as needed. Key Competencies Required

Project Management: Manage cross-functional projects, define scope and timelines, integrate team work, and ensure quality deliverables. Knowledge, Experience and Skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work independently and as part of a team. Bachelor\'s Degree and Six Years’ Experience OR Master\'s Degree and Four Years’ Experience 6+ years of relevant experience in Finance with increasing scope; 4+ years with an MBA/MS or MA. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with Oracle, Hyperion, and Tableau preferred. Experience with project reporting, operational accounting and reporting required. A CPA or master’s degree, and prior experience in biotech or pharmaceutical industry supporting R&D are strongly preferred. Solution oriented with good analytical capabilities; ability to work in a deadline-driven, multitask environment. People Leader Accountabilities

Salary range: $136,340.00 - $176,440.00. Gilead considers a variety of factors when determining base compensation, including experience, qualifications, and geographic location. This position may be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, discretionary stock-based long-term incentives (eligibility may vary by role), paid time off, and a benefits package.
