Overview
KBR is seeking a Performance Expert to help strengthen the physical and psychological health, resilience and performance of Soldiers, Unit Leaders, Families, and DA Civilians located at Army Installations. The role supports the Resilience Training/Ready and Resilient Performance Center Program to optimize mental and physical health and sustain Army training and education programs across Army installations. The position is contingent upon a vacancy at this location. Responsibilities
Instruct individuals in holistic approaches to strength, conditioning, and resilience to help ensure durability. Conduct training intake/registration, establish initial unit contact, observe and develop training plans, prepare training events (research, tailor course material, produce and distribute materials), facilitate training, grade student materials, and document grades in required databases. Assess training impact by distributing surveys, summarize results in an After-Action Review (AAR) for each training session, and provide the AAR to leadership within five workdays of completion. Prepare quarterly analyses and maintain training records. Observe instructors and provide feedback on delivery. Complete initial instructor certifications to ensure effective delivery. Deliver instruction focused on applying resilience and performance enhancement to support unit missions, leadership development, and adherence to doctrine. Foster professional climates founded on mutual trust and cohesive teams; teach practical resilience skills and mental performance techniques; support personal, professional, and family goals through tailored educational programs and workshops. Qualifications
Required Education/Experience: Master’s degree from an accredited institution in Psychology, Counseling Psychology, Counseling Education, Coaching Education, or Kinesiology with a specialization in sport and/or performance psychology. Teaching or coaching experience, preferably with military and DOD personnel. Thorough knowledge of the Army organizational structure, mission objectives, functions, regulations, and policy pertaining to the Department of the Army. Prior to performing PE tasks, PEs shall be evaluated and certified to ensure ability to deliver lessons. Preferred Education/Experience
Certifications or memberships within professional associations related to the field (e.g., AASP, CMPC, ABSP) or ability to obtain within one year of hire. Compensation & Benefits
