About the Role The Company is seeking a Deputy Chief Financial Officer to play a pivotal role in the transformation of its finance and accounting team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the CFO in leading business support functions, developing strategies, and ensuring the efficient delivery of financial and procurement services in compliance with contract requirements. This includes overseeing internal controls, driving process improvements, and aligning field financial teams with the Office of the CFO to maintain oversight, compliance, and risk mitigation. The role also involves monitoring and implementing changes to laws, regulations, and orders, as well as leading projects, managing deliverables, and providing leadership in workforce planning and development.
Qualifications Applicants for the Deputy Chief Financial Officer position at the company should have a Bachelors degree in a relevant field, with a Masters degree preferred, and at least 10 years of management experience in business and / or financial operations. Direct experience with FAR, DFAR, and DEAR regulations in a federal contracting environment is essential, as is a strong knowledge of federal contracting rules, budgeting, funding mechanisms, and DOE regulations. The role requires a candidate with strong leadership, organizational, and management skills, as well as expertise in systems integration, financial analysis, and forecasting.
