Position overview We are seeking an accomplished employment law partner to join our leadership team. This is a key strategic hire for our employment group, which handles high-impact cases and counseling for employers of all sizes. The ideal candidate will be a proven litigator who is eager to collaborate with a talented bench of trial lawyers and expand our employment law capabilities.
Responsibilities
Serve as a lead trial lawyer and strategist on single-plaintiff and class/collective employment cases.
Counsel clients on employment practices, compliance, and litigation avoidance strategies.
Help shape the direction of the employment practice group and mentor rising attorneys.
Partner with firm leadership on business development initiatives and thought leadership opportunities.
Required qualifications
J.D. from an accredited law school and active membership in good standing with the California Bar.
10+ years of experience handling employment litigation and counseling matters.
Demonstrated ability to manage cases from intake through resolution, including trial experience.
Strong leadership, collaboration, and mentoring skills.
Preferred qualifications
Experience with wage-and-hour class actions, PAGA actions, and EEOC/DFEH investigations.
Interest in developing new client relationships with support from firm resources.
Prior experience working in an AmLaw 200 or highly regarded litigation firm.
