5–10 years Overview A leading private equity fund focused on power, energy, and renewables is seeking a Vice President to join its Capital Formation & Investor Relations team. This individual will play a critical role in fundraising, capital raising, and investor relations across the firm’s funds and strategies, with a focus on energy transition and power investments. Key Responsibilities Lead fundraising and capital formation activities across the firm’s private equity platforms. Manage existing investor relationships and cultivate new LP relationships across institutional investors, family offices, and other capital partners. Support the development and execution of fundraising strategies, including investor targeting, pipeline development, and marketing materials. Coordinate due diligence processes and respond to investor requests across fundraises and co-investments. Partner with senior leadership on LP communications, quarterly reporting, and annual meetings. Collaborate with investment teams to articulate investment strategy, performance, and market insights to investors. Contribute to overall brand development and positioning of the firm in the energy and power private equity space. Qualifications 5–10 years of experience in capital formation, investor relations, fundraising, or placement across private equity, infrastructure, or alternative asset management. Demonstrated track record of raising capital and managing LP relationships at the fund level. Prior exposure to energy, power, or renewables strongly preferred. Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills. Ability to manage multiple workstreams and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree a plus.
