Director, Women's Center — Georgetown University Georgetown University comprises two unique campuses in the nation’s capital. The Hilltop Campus is in the historic Georgetown neighborhood, and the Capitol Campus is near the U.S. Capitol and U.S. Supreme Court. The Women’s Center Director provides leadership and program direction on all aspects of the Women’s Center’s mission, envisioning, organizing, and implementing initiatives, programs, outreach campaigns, and other educational efforts to advance individual and community formation for women and students with marginalized genders at Georgetown. This position is the primary full-time staff person attached to the Women's Center and supervises graduate and undergraduate student staff, budget, communications, and other resources. The Director collaborates with faculty, staff, and students who lead parallel and intersecting inclusion efforts and serves as a primary representative on issues related to women and students with marginalized genders. The role ensures policies, procedures, programs, services, and community practices reflect contemporary understanding of intersectional gender identity experience and best practices in outreach, education, and programming. Responsibilities

Provide leadership for the Women's Center by directing resources, including student staff, department, budget, space, collaborative partnerships, and other resources Support, resource, and accompany undergraduate and graduate students on issues related to women’s identity and the experiences of women and students with marginalized genders, focusing on student formation and development Lead educational and outreach programs addressing the needs of women students across a broad spectrum of topics Serve as an ambassador of the Women’s Center and the Division of Student Affairs to faculty, staff, departments, and other stakeholders Generate strategies to support the formation of undergraduate and graduate students Work Interactions

The Director reports to the Associate VP for Student Affairs. The Director collaborates with other Directors of cultural centers and works with the Program Coordinator for Cultural Centers. The role includes consulting with students, faculty, staff, and alumni; advising offices that support student needs; chairing and coordinating committees; strategic planning; developing and assessing programs and services; and contributing to ongoing cultural competency and professional development. Requirements And Qualifications

Master’s Degree in Higher Education/Student Affairs, Women and Gender Studies, Human Development, or a related field is required Minimum of 5 years of full-time, professional experience related to women’s identity formation, community inclusion, and/or educational equity Familiarity with post-secondary student formation, development, and growth, particularly regarding intersectional identity development Familiarity with issues relevant to women and students with marginalized genders Experience working within a decentralized higher education organization Experience working with students as an advisor, supervisor, mentor, supporter, and educator Ability to work independently and collaboratively with diverse stakeholders Strong organizational and communication skills Preferred Qualifications

Advanced or terminal degree in a discipline related to women’s identity development, human development, or higher education Understanding of the mission and context of Jesuit and Catholic higher education as it relates to women’s identity formation Work Mode Designation

This position is Hybrid, 4:1. The role includes primary staff coverage at the Hilltop Campus and periodic coverage at the Capitol Campus. Details about Georgetown’s mode of work designations are available on the Georgetown HR site. Compensation

Pay Range: $54,616.00 - $100,493.33. Compensation is determined by qualifications, experience, education, and other factors. Application and Support
