As an LPN Clinic Lead Nurse, youll supervise and mentor LPNs and support staff, oversee patient care and ensure that high standards are met, collaborate with our medical team to provide efficient and effective care, maintain a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and assist with administrative duties to ensure the smooth operation of the clinic. Responsibilities

Triage patients immediate medical attention needs and assess for appropriate screenings prior to physician evaluation; communicate plan of care before, during, and after visits. Record allergies, vital signs, reason for visit, current medications, social and past medical history, abuse, fall risk, functional assessment, and advance directives in patient records. Verify physician orders, prepare and administer medications and treatments, and submit charges as required. Maintain cleanliness and organization of exam rooms before and after visits. Ensure test/lab reports are present in the medical record prior to visits and communicate results among patients and physicians. Coordinate with pharmacies regarding patient medications and ensure prior authorizations are completed promptly. Sort, distribute, and file patient correspondence and scans in the medical record after physician review. Respond to patient messages promptly and document all communications in the patient record. Assemble and organize supplies for procedures and provide privacy and instructions to patients pre- and post-procedure. Assist physicians during procedures, obtain specimens, complete necessary paperwork, and deliver specimens to designated locations. Order medications and supplies to maintain stock; ensure proper labeling with date opened, expiration date, and nurse initials. Maintain clinic logs and storage of past months as required for review. Check emergency kit and oxygen monthly and replace red lock as needed. Store surgical instruments properly and ensure packaging is intact. Report regulatory issues promptly to the Office Manager and submit tickets electronically as needed. Orient new nursing personnel to clinic processes and train new staff. Qualifications

Current LPN license through the Louisiana State Board of Practical Nurse Examiners. Current American Heart Association BLS certification. 3 years of related experience. Work Shift: Days (United States of America). About Us
