Our client is seeking an experienced and driven
HVAC General Manager
to lead their growing operations in North Carolina. The ideal candidate will oversee daily business functions, manage a team of technicians and office staff, and ensure customer satisfaction while driving profitability and growth. This role requires strong leadership, financial acumen, and in-depth knowledge of HVAC systems and industry best practices. This role brings an exciting opportunity for advancement as you begin as a GM over a small team looking to rapidly grow throughout the region. Base pay range
$150,000.00/yr - $175,000.00/yr Responsibilities
Provide overall leadership and direction for HVAC service, installation, and maintenance operations. Manage, train, and mentor service technicians, installers, and administrative staff to achieve performance goals. Develop and implement operational strategies that enhance efficiency, productivity, and profitability. Monitor financial performance, budgets, and key metrics, ensuring the company meets revenue and profit objectives. Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through quality service delivery and problem resolution. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including North Carolina HVAC licensing requirements. Oversee safety programs and enforce adherence to safety standards. Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to drive new business opportunities and grow market share. Manage vendor relationships, inventory, and procurement to support efficient operations. Report regularly to ownership/executive leadership on performance, challenges, and opportunities. Qualifications
Minimum of 10+ years of HVAC industry experience, with at least 3 years in a management or leadership role. Prior experience with Service Titan REQUIRED Proven track record of leading teams and managing P&L responsibilities. Strong understanding of HVAC systems, installation, service, and maintenance practices. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
