Job Description As a Technical Product Manager, you will manage the backlog and prioritization for multiple API engineering teams. The ideal candidate will have a technical mindset and experience in managing and grooming a backlog of requirements and working with cross-functional teams. Key skills include the ability to elaborate approved features into clear and complete epics, bridge the gap between engineering and business, and understand both the technical aspects of a product and the strategic goals of the organization. The individual should be goal-oriented, have a proactive approach to work, excellent cooperation and teamwork skills, and a willingness to constantly learn.

Oversees the strategic product management for an assigned technical product line(s) in support of the Enterprise organization’s goals and market needs. Engages with key stakeholders to define, document, and prioritize features; ensures delivery of marketable capabilities for all U.S. Bank engineering teams while collaborating with the agile scrum teams to deliver. Drives functionality, user experience, and strategic direction for one or more facets of the Technical Platform. Partners with both customers and end users, interacting and operating within the product delivery teams throughout the agile delivery process.

Responsibilities

Manage backlog and prioritization for multiple API engineering teams

Elaborate approved features into epics and align with technical and business goals

Collaborate with engineering and business stakeholders to deliver marketable capabilities

Drive functionality, user experience, and strategic direction for Technical Platform facets

Engage with customers and end users within agile delivery teams

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience

Typically, three to five years of relevant experience

Preferred Skills/Experience

Proficient in technical product management

Strong knowledge of technical product/program development, implementation, and strategic analysis

Strong knowledge of competitive market, operations and various products and services for Credit Card products

Effective verbal and written communication skills

Experience with API Scrum teams

Experience with Agile methodology, Confluence, JIRA and MS Office Tools

Location Expectations The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.

Posting Note The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location and may differ based on location. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package. Pay Range: $98,175.00 - $115,500.00
