is seeking a Pilot-in-Command (PIC) to transport passengers in a 2002 Socata TBM 700. Flights are conducted under FAR Part 91 for a group of five co-owners based in Grand Forks, ND. Company-paid flight training is provided at SimCom in Orlando, FL.

Minimum License, Certification, & Flight Experience:
Commercial Single-Engine Land (ASEL) & Multi-Engine Land (AMEL) Certification
Instrument Rating
Current FAA First- or Second-Class Medical Certificate
Driver’s License with acceptable driving record
No FAA certificate actions within the last five years
Preferred Experience
2,000 hours Total Time
1,500 hours Pilot-in-Command (PIC) time
500 hours of Cross-Country time
100 hours of Night flight time
75 hours of Actual or Simulated Instrument flight hours, 50 of which in actual flight
Previous TBM 700 flight time
Experience with Turbine, Pressurized, and Complex Aircraft
Experience in Cold Weather Operations and Icing Conditions
Experience with EFIS flight instruments and King KFC 325 Autopilot
Knowledge & Skills
Demonstrates the ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing. Required.
Demonstrates the ability to think and act critically while adapting to changing conditions. Required.
Job Summary The Pilot in Command (PIC) is directly responsible for the safe and efficient transport of all passengers in a 2002 Socata TBM 700. All flights are conducted under FAR Part 91 for a group of five co-owners based in Grand Forks, ND. Flights are generally scheduled well in advance with very few last-minute trips. Company-paid initial & recurrent flight training is conducted at SimCom in Orlando, FL. The PIC ensures compliance with applicable FARs, AIM, and GOM procedures and maintains the knowledge and skills necessary to safely transport passengers and cargo.
Essential Job Functions
Directly responsible for the safe and efficient transport of all passengers in the Socata TBM 700; operate in a single-pilot environment (SRM) and ensure safety of passengers and cargo.
Assess flight conditions on duty and promptly inform supervisors and passengers of changes; respond to changes to continue, divert, or terminate a flight as needed.
Perform thorough aircraft walk-around at start of each shift; conduct safety and operational briefings with passengers when status changes.
Complete all required documentation for aircraft management.
Maintain ongoing airframe competency and participate in meetings, training, and checkoffs as required by regulatory agencies or the organization.
Establish and maintain communication with coworkers, management, and other stakeholders.
Perform other duties as assigned to meet department/organization needs.
