ServiceNow Solutions Architect and Technical Manager

to be part of SSA’s Digital Modernization Strategy. Work with a high performing team building next-generation enterprise APIs and modern responsive user interfaces to support the Social Security Administration (SSA) and its mission. On-site work is required 5 days a week in Woodlawn, MD. Key skills include expertise in developing enterprise-wide architecture, leading multiple development and implementation efforts, and providing guidance and leadership with development team leads. Responsibilities

Lead the ServiceNow Architecture development, enhancements and implementations. Collaborate with customers and stakeholders to utilize ServiceNow for managing enterprise services and enhancements using new technologies (e.g., AI and automation). Build roadmaps, provide recommendations, and lead development and utilization of new technologies and services to fully utilize ServiceNow capabilities. Provide assistance to development teams as needed. Qualifications

Foundation for Success (Basic Qualifications)

BS Degree and 12+ years of experience. Additional years of experience may be substituted in lieu of degree. 12+ years of experience as ServiceNow Developer. 8+ years as a ServiceNow Solutions Architect. 8+ years leading ServiceNow development teams. Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust. Contract requirement. Factors to Help You Shine (Required Skills)

Required ServiceNow certifications: Certified System Administrator (baseline); Certified Application Developer (baseline). ServiceNow CIS certifications in multiple areas: CIS – Customer Service Management; CIS – IT Service Management; CIS – Discovery; CIS – Service Mapping; CIS – Strategic Portfolio Management; CIS – Application Portfolio Management; CIS – Software Asset Management; CIS – Hardware Asset Management. 5+ years of experience with technical discussions and reviews. 5+ years of experience across multiple parts of the ServiceNow platform and integrations with commonly used third-party technologies. 5+ years of experience developing ServiceNow solutions across ITSM, ITOM (HAM and SAM), ITBM, CSM, SecOps, GRC, HR. 5+ years of industry experience (e.g., Financial Services, Healthcare, High Tech, Manufacturing, Retail). 5+ years of technical leadership experience driving change/solutions. Ability to work in a high growth, fast-paced environment. Excellent understanding of system architecture and design principles; experience with IT-related data integrity (CMDB, HAM, SAM, etc.). Excellent written and oral communication skills for delivering technical solutions clearly. Experience with the US Federal Government. Desired Skills

Experience with Web development technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, SQL, XML, JavaScript, Angular, etc.). Experience implementing JavaScript to support automation across ServiceNow modules. Experience with REST and SOAP web services. Knowledge of SAML, Active Directory, or LDAP. Specialized ServiceNow Developer Certifications across ITSM, HAM, SAM, ITBM, CSM, SecOps, GRC, TRM/APM or HR.
