Software Engineer level: 2 years with a Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) or Master’s degree. Principal Software Engineer level: 5 years with a Bachelor’s in STEM; 3 years with a Master’s; 1 year with a PhD. Active Secret Security Clearance, or the ability to obtain Secret Clearance. Experience developing software using Java. Experience developing software using C++. Experience developing software on Linux. Experience managing source code using Git, GitHub, or GitLab. Understanding of all phases of software development, and practical experience in an Agile/DevOps environment. Nice-To-Have Qualifications

Experience with Python, JavaFX, JavaScript, Bash, Perl, XML, Eclipse, Visual Studio Code, Jupyter Notebook, OSGi, Google Guice. Experience with Unit testing (JUnit), Automated Testing, Squish, Jenkins, DevOps, Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, Jira and Confluence. Experience with MIL-STD 6016 (L16), Modeling and Simulation, MBSE, Blue Force Tracker (BFT), Integrated Broadcast Service (IBS), ADS-B. Experience with Air & Missile Defense C2 programs such as IBCS, PATRIOT, SENTINEL, C2BMC or THAAD or any sensor/weapon system. Security+ certification. Compensation and Benefits

Primary Level Salary Range: $85,400.00 - $128,000.00. Secondary Level Salary Range: $105,400.00 - $158,000.00. Northrop Grumman notes that base salary offers depend on scope, responsibilities, experience, education, skills, and market conditions. Eligible for overtime, shift differential, and discretionary bonus depending on position. Benefits include health and life insurance, savings plan, holidays and PTO.
