Overview
SYSTEMS INTEGRATOR
PROFESSIONAL SERVICES | TECHNICAL PROJECTS SEATTLE | HYBRID
Our Systems Integrators are responsible for accurate and timely completion of all projects assigned to them. They interface with a range of environments and technologies across our customer base during the project lifecycle. They work closely with Support Services and Business Services teams before, during, and after implementation to ensure visibility on all project work. Their primary focus is to complete project technical work on time and drive customer satisfaction. They attend project kick-off meetings, internal and external, and after-action review meetings regularly. They are the face of Convergence Professional Services and are expected to demonstrate empathy, patience, and compassion. They display confidence and comprehensive knowledge of the project work at client-facing meetings.
Responsibilities
Timely completion of all project work assigned, including explicit and implicit tasks.
Install and configure Windows Servers, peripherals, network devices, and storage in accordance with internal standards and project requirements.
Develop, document, and maintain installation and configuration procedures.
Regular internal and external communications on project statuses and planned changes/outages for clients.
Mentor other technical staff to support professional growth and disseminate knowledge of client infrastructure.
Provide technical design recommendations to the vCIO team to ensure proper project scope and IT best practices.
Other relevant duties as assigned.
Skills and Experience
Solid experience with Windows and Mac OS desktop operating systems.
Experience deploying and building Windows servers (troubleshooting, supporting, and implementing) including Exchange Server 2010-2019 and Office 365.
Knowledge of mail flow troubleshooting, VPN remote implementation, troubleshooting, and problem resolution.
Experience with Active Directory and Group Policies; Microsoft 365 stack (Office 365, SharePoint, Azure).
Familiarity with backup and recovery software, firewalls, networking/routing, wireless configurations.
SME in one or more service catalog product lines; strong customer-service and communication skills.
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and work independently or within a team.
Experience with MSP tools such as ConnectWise or Kaseya is a plus.
Relevant IT certifications (e.g., MTA, MCSA, MCSE, SonicWall CSSA, Cisco CCNA, Fortinet NSE, VMware VCP) is a plus.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
5+ years of relevant experience in IT roles (e.g., Network Administrator, Systems Administrator, System Engineer, or Tier 2).
Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware and software components (PCs, laptops, servers, firewalls, switches, routers, storage, Windows OS).
Experience with onsite and remote/phone support in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Experience with medium to large-scale IT projects (e.g., Email migrations, infrastructure refreshes).
Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle.
Associate’s degree or higher in Information Technology preferred; familiarity with MSP business model is a plus.
Experience with MSP tools such as ConnectWise or Kaseya; cloud services experience (Microsoft 365, Azure).
Physical Work Environment
Standing, walking, sitting, using hands, seeing, reaching, talking, and hearing. May occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
