Job Description

The Assistant Director of Specialty Masters Programs will have primary responsibility for program management, operations and student services for Questrom MS in Finance and MS in Mathematical Finance and Technology programs, and a shared role in supporting the other Questrom Specialty Masters degree programs. The Assistant Director will report to the Finance Masters Program Director and work closely with the Masters and PhD program staff. The Assistant Director will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the student experience for a growing enrollment of Finance Master degree students that will reach 300 full-time students within the next three years. Responsibilities include program management, operations, academic student support and managing student events such as orientation and community-building events. In addition, the Assistant Director will be assigned other projects as they relate to all graduate students and share in general administrative responsibilities as a member of the Masters & PhD Center team.

Responsibilities

Program management, operations and student services for Questrom MS in Finance and MS in Mathematical Finance and Technology programs.

Support the growth and experience of graduate students, expected to reach 300 full-time students within three years.

Coordinate academic student support and manage student events, including orientation and community-building activities.

Collaborate with Masters and PhD Center staff and other Questrom Specialty Masters program teams on related projects and general administrative responsibilities.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required; master's degree preferred.

Strong oral and written communication skills, highly organized, able to multitask.

One to three years of experience in counseling, student services or higher education administration.

Prior event planning experience preferred.

Some evening and occasional weekend work required. Occasional domestic travel may be required.
