Our client is seeking a Development Lead to lead the strategic planning, origination, and execution of utility-scale renewable energy projects (solar, storage, wind) from concept through Ready-to-Build (RTB) across ERCOT, MISO, SPP. The Development Lead will be responsible for: Identify and evaluate new project opportunities across the U.S. Build and maintain a pipeline of viable renewable energy projects Oversee site selection, permitting, and interconnection processes Ensure compliance with environmental, land use, and energy regulations Manage utility coordination and engagement with ISO/RTOs Lead stakeholder relationships: landowners, regulators, and community leaders Represent the company in hearings, forums, and external engagements Mentor and lead a team of developers and analysts Collaborate across engineering, legal, finance, and construction teams Maintain strong communication with global leadership to ensure alignment Profile
The ideal candidate will have: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Business, or related field 6+ years' experience in renewable energy project development - utility-scale solar, BESS, and/or wind Strong knowledge of U.S. energy markets, permitting, and interconnection processes Experience in land acquisition, regulatory navigation, and stakeholder engagement Proven leadership and project management skills Excellent communication and negotiation abilities Job Offer
