Medical Science Liaison, Immunology-Rheumatology (N.CA & Oregon) based in the Northern California and Oregon territory. Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicines is recruiting for a Medical Science Liaison, Immunology (Rheumatology). Responsibilities
Provide fair, balanced, objective scientific information and education to opinion leaders (OLs), health care professionals (HCPs), and internal partners as required by scientific and business needs. Serve as a scientific and clinical knowledge lead on current and future J&J Innovative Medicine products within the Therapeutic Area alignment. Stay abreast of current scientific and treatment landscape trends in the territory; support research through company and investigator-initiated studies. Build external relationships with identified OLs and HCPs (MD, PA, NP, RN, Pharm.D., biocoordinators) and develop and manage a geographical territory. Engage in educational activities with OLs, HCPs, institutions, and community practices, prioritizing in-person engagements when appropriate. Develop and maintain a territory strategic plan; collaborate with field-based partners to support healthcare providers and positively impact patients. Demonstrate Change Management, Time Management, and Innovation competencies; conduct all activities in compliance with current regulatory and healthcare guidelines. Travel frequently as a field-based role, estimated at ~70% travel, primarily within assigned geography with occasional travel outside the geography. Qualifications
PharmD, PhD, MD, or other advanced medical degree; NP (Nurse Practitioner) or PA (Physician Assistant) with 2+ years relevant TA clinical experience. Ability to travel up to 70% (including overnight stays) and some weekend commitments. Ability to drive and fly to various meetings/congresses/headquarters; valid U.S. driver’s license and clean driving record. Reside within the defined assigned territory or be eligible for relocation. Preferred
Minimum 2 years of relevant Immunology-related work experience (clinical, research, fellowship, or pharmaceutical) with presentation skills. Knowledge or experience in Rheumatology and/or Immunology highly preferred. Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and use of computers and remote technologies. Residence near a major airport (San Francisco preferred; Portland or other metro areas considered). Equality and Inclusion

The anticipated base pay range for this position is: $115,000-$197,800.
