Location: Cincinnati, Columbus (OH), Wheeling (WV); travel required; field-based with 80% travel estimated. This is a Senior Medical Science Liaison role within Immunology for the Ohio/West Virginia territory. About Immunology

Provide fair, balanced, objective scientific information and education to opinion leaders, healthcare professionals, and internal partners as required by scientific and business needs. Serve as an established scientific and clinical knowledge lead on current and future J&J Innovative Medicine products per Therapeutic Area alignment. Stay informed on current scientific and treatment landscape trends in the therapeutic areas of interest. Support company and investigator-initiated research; develop and maintain a geographical territory and a territory strategic plan with educational activities for OLs, HCPs, institutions, and community practices. Build external relationships with identified OLs and HCPs (MD, PA, NP, RN, Pharm.D., biocoordinators) with a mix of virtual and in-person engagements, prioritizing in-person when appropriate. Conduct activities in accordance with regulatory and healthcare compliance guidelines. Responsibilities (Continued)

Lead or participate in research initiatives; identify educational gaps and elevate team acumen. Engage with external investigators regarding unsolicited research inquiries; act as liaison to R&D, Medical Affairs, and operations teams. Provide clinical trial support to identify potential sites, resolve issues, and participate in meetings (site initiation visits, investigator launches). Demonstrate strong scientific acumen through participation in team calls, trainings, and scientific meetings; share medical insights and synthesize data for the team and partners. Represent J&J at congresses, symposia, advisory boards, and investigator meetings; support speaking engagements as needed. Support department operations and internal partners; perform administrative requirements accurately and compliantly. Qualifications

PharmD, PhD, MD or other advanced medical degree; NP/PA may be considered; +3 years relevant Therapeutic Area clinical experience. 3+ years of MSL experience or equivalent clinical/research/pharma experience. Significant experience giving presentations. Ability to travel up to 75-80% (overnight, some weekends). Valid U.S. driver’s license and clean driving record; reside within the defined territory. Preferred

Knowledge or experience in the relevant Therapeutic Area and/or Immunology. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint; comfort with remote technologies. Residence near Cincinnati or Columbus, OH preferred. Compensation and Benefits

The expected base pay range is $137,000 to $235,750. Eligible for a company car through the Fleet program and an annual performance bonus. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, pension/401(k), and other programs.
