Overview
Commercial Account Executive
to join Procore’s Sales Team. This role focuses on new account acquisition, applying knowledge of Procore’s products, sales methodology, processes, and prospecting techniques to close new logo opportunities with mid-sized customers in the construction industry. The position involves following up on inbound leads, prospecting, qualifying, solution selling, negotiation, and closing. The role reports to the Manager, Commercial Sales and can be remote or based in Austin, TX, Tampa, FL or Carpinteria, CA. This is an ongoing, open requisition for individuals interested in starting or continuing a sales career at Procore, now or in the future if/when a position becomes available.
What you’ll do
Develop territory and account plans for new prospects to build rapport and create new logo opportunities
Research accounts, identify key players, generate interest, obtain business requirements to close new logo business and achieve or exceed targets
Collaborate with Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) and Solutions Engineers (SEs) to position Procore as the leading construction software solution
Maintain accurate forecasts and provide reports on sales activities as requested
Increase knowledge of key competitors to communicate Procore’s value proposition effectively
Manage leads, opportunities, and account information within Salesforce.com
Networking, relationship building, cold calling, lead follow-up, product demonstrations, and execution of service agreements
What we're looking for
5+ years of demonstrated successful software sales, preferably B2B
Experience with a consultative, solution-based sales methodology
Proven track record in inside or outside sales
Proven ability to communicate effectively by telephone and email
Ability and resilience to work in a fast-paced sales environment
Proven ability to build and manage pipeline and forecasting
Additional information Base pay range (note: location-based) for this role varies by city and includes potential equity compensation. Actual compensation will be based on skills, experience, and location.
