HDR is looking for a Senior Trenchless Construction Consultant to join our national Trenchless Services team. This role reports to the Trenchless Services Engineering Lead and supports the execution of design and field services associated with trenchless services: engineering, design, and construction applications. Location options include multiple U.S. locations. The role is full-time and aligned with HDR’s employee-owned culture. Responsibilities

Provide construction oversight for trenchless installations. Conduct constructability reviews of trenchless engineering efforts. Conduct daily reviews of deliverables for trenchless construction activities. Perform site visits during preliminary engineering efforts. Conduct route assessments for trenchless aspects of pipeline siting and routing. Oversee trenchless construction activities, including staffing coordination and development/review of construction management scopes. Interface with clients to support business development for trenchless services. Coordinate subcontractors, scheduling, and quality control. Prepare the Project Management Plan and Construction Management Plan. Develop procedures for construction contract administration and implement them with the project team (document control, change management, time, cost, quality, safety management). Perform additional construction management activities, including procurement-related scheduling, subcontract scopes, subcontract terms review, value engineering, cost and schedule reviews, and project performance presentations. Administer and manage construction activities; monitor design progress relative to construction requirements. Perform value engineering and constructability reviews; coordinate local bidding for field quotes. Assist in procurement of purchase orders and subcontract packages; coordinate document management. Review or coordinate submittals (shop drawings, pay applications); prepare, issue, and negotiate change orders. Review and analyze baseline and updated construction schedules; control project budget and schedule. Coordinate and manage project quality assurance, control, and inspection services; ensure subcontractor compliance with Health and Safety Program. Prepare and update project schedules, pay requests, and progress reports (daily, weekly, monthly). Coordinate local bidding efforts; manage project setup and temporary facilities. Perform other duties as needed. Qualifications

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Construction Science, or closely related field, or equivalent work experience. A minimum of 10 years of experience in construction planning and management, including contracts, document/time/cost/quality management, change management, site safety, bidding, purchase orders and subcontracts, scheduling, and cost control. Experience with Microsoft Office. Experience with construction management software such as Procore, Prolog, Primavera, Bluebeam, etc. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with Owners, Engineers, Contractors, and other stakeholders. Commitment to HDR’s employee-owned culture. Preferred Qualifications

Professional Engineer (PE). Certified Construction Manager (CCM). Experience with estimating, scheduling, project management software, and web-based collaboration tools for document exchange. What We Believe & Our Commitment

The compensation range for this position depends on skills, experience, education, and location (for full-time regular positions; temporary/part-time roles may have limited benefits). Targeted salary range: $135,000 - $165,000. Location & Schedule
