Overview

A part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available to support elementary school students from Pre-K through 5th grade. This contract position offers 15 to 18 hours per week with flexible scheduling options, providing a rewarding setting to apply pediatric speech therapy and teletherapy. Located in Washington, DC, this role runs ASAP through June 22, 2026, with potential for Extended School Year (ESY) services. The caseload focuses on children utilizing Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices. Qualifications

Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC preferred) Experience working with pediatric populations in school or healthcare settings Familiarity with teletherapy and use of AAC devices Completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred but not required Knowledge of school-based speech-language pathology practices Experience or certification as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) is a plus Responsibilities

Provide individualized speech and language therapy services to students from PK to 5th grade Collaborate with educators, families, and healthcare professionals to support student communication goals Implement AAC strategies to enhance student interaction and participation Maintain accurate documentation and progress reporting aligned with school policies Adapt therapy plans to meet diverse student needs and scheduling preferences Benefits
