We’re seeking a highly motivated and technically proficient
Senior Solutions Engineer
to be the bridge between a cutting-edge platform and hospital/clinic customers. You’ll ensure successful implementation, integration, and adoption of an EHR-embedded, SMART on FHIR application. If you thrive on solving complex data integration challenges, collaborating with IT and clinical teams, and are passionate about healthcare technology, this role is for you. Who You'll Work With
Primary technical point of contact for customers during implementations, partnering with IT, clinical stakeholders, and project managers. Collaborate internally with Product, Engineering (Backend, Data, AI/ML, DevOps), and Sales. Hybrid culture: Bay Area team meets weekly in San Francisco; remote-first otherwise. Must work core Pacific hours; US-only for compliance. What You'll Do
Lead technical implementations from kickoff → go-live. Install, configure, and deploy SMART on FHIR apps in hospital IT environments. Design, develop, and test custom data connectors (HL7 v2 ADT/SIU, FHIR resources). Configure secure, isolated SaaS instances for each customer. Establish secure connectivity (VPNs, firewalls, low-latency data exchange). Provide expert troubleshooting during implementation and early adoption. Document integration points, configs, and custom solutions. Gather customer feedback to shape product enhancements. What You'll Bring
5+ years in a customer-facing technical role (Solutions Engineer, Implementation Engineer, Technical Consultant). Hands-on expertise with
FHIR and HL7 v2
interoperability standards. Proven experience with major
EHR/EMR systems
(Epic, Cerner, Meditech). Experience with cloud platforms (Google Cloud, AWS, or similar). Excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical teams. Strong troubleshooting and project management abilities. Knowledge of healthcare data security/privacy (HIPAA). Extra Credit: SQL, API integrations, data transformation tools. Why Join?
