Product Manager
for our
HVAC Business Unit, Aftermarket portfolio . This role is critical for creating and driving a growth-focused product strategy and influencing key commercial activities.
Reporting to the Sr. Director of Product Management for the HVAC BU, this role will own the HVAC Aftermarket space and be responsible for developing and executing product line roadmaps to enable continued market leadership. You will work to understand market needs, innovate with purpose, and deliver to customers through collaboration with Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Finance and Business Leadership teams.
Responsibilities
Product Management:
Own all aspects of the product portfolio, including achievement of financial plans – orders, revenue, margin – through data-driven management and problem solving.
Build a multi-year roadmap for the portfolio with cross-functional teams using market analysis and evaluation of new product opportunities.
Drive Voice-of-Customer collection to develop market knowledge and prioritize solutions that meet customer applications and strategic goals.
Perform competitive evaluation and market analysis to develop product positioning and pricing strategies that drive revenue and market share.
Guide and collaborate with Engineering to design solutions and next-gen motors to maximize ROI and sustainable success.
Identify differentiated value propositions and partner with Marketing and Sales to launch new products and improve customer gain-share.
Present business cases and product plans to leadership to align strategic directions with tactical actions.
Manage assigned product lines within the Regal Rexnord Business System, including 80/20 and Continuous Improvement in all product management decisions.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent field required.
Minimum 8 years of Commercial or Product Management experience with highly engineered products in a complex B2B industrial manufacturing environment.
Strong foundation in Product Management fundamentals, including market research, cost/price analysis, competitive positioning, and business case development.
Analytical and problem-solving mindset; hands-on application experience.
Ability to cope with ambiguity and change; able to decide and act without complete information; comfortable with risk and uncertainty.
Strong communication and presentation skills for teams of varying sizes.
Resourceful, collaborative, with an owner mentality; effective time management and prioritization.
Proficiency with MS Office (Excel/Word/PowerPoint) and BI Tools (PowerBI).
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (about 25%).
Preferred: Relevant HVAC industry experience.
