Job overview: The Therapy Development Rep will drive adoption of new therapies, growing sales and market share for the assigned territory by training, educating, selling, and in-servicing new Vascular products. This role includes developing new accounts and driving therapy adoption of PVH carotid, thrombectomy and other products as outlined by leadership. Responsibilities include ethical territory management in planning, administration, and expense control, training medical staff on new products and procedures, and meeting sales expectations defined by Sales Management. RESPONSIBILITIES

Planning/Results Orientation

Consistently meet and exceed AOP, sales budget, and account development targets (QoQ and YoY). Drive sales and adoption of new Vascular technologies within the Area/District by implementing effective sales strategies and tactics. Collaborate with the Vascular Field team to identify opportunities and execute sales strategies to drive therapy growth. Develop and execute accurate, ongoing sales plans to achieve sales objectives. Identify, evaluate, and convert target accounts to increase market share and ensure successful adoption of new products. Develop and execute market development plans to expand product reach and adoption. Manage expenses to drive business growth and adhere to company policies and procedures. Adhere to financial, regulatory, quality compliance standards and requirements. Influence and Selling

Establish and maintain productive relationships with key decision makers, customers and staff that drive business and therapy adoption. Train, educate, and become the therapy expert, sharing market trends, insights, and best practices with the Vascular Field organization. Build and maintain relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) to drive adoption. Identify customer needs, engage effectively, and overcome objections; build consensus and close business. Plan and deliver effective sales/product presentations to customers. Customer Service

Educate customers to ensure new products and features are understood and used effectively. Respond to customer requests and resolve issues promptly and effectively. Plan cases with physicians, manage expectations, and support improved outcomes. Engage physicians in clinical conversations about therapy advantages. Conduct business in accordance with ethics and compliance guidelines and FDA requirements. Communication

Collaborate with internal functions (marketing, customer service, finance, etc.) to meet targets. Share market intelligence and competitor activity promptly, including potential leads and pricing information with District Sales Manager and other personnel. Contribute to a strong team effort. Self-Development and Product Knowledge

Maintain comprehensive technical/clinical knowledge and capabilities. Understand competitive products and differentiators relative to Medtronic products. Participate in product and skills development programs and manage own development. Maintain knowledge of the reimbursement landscape. Must Have - Basic Qualifications

Bachelor ’s degree 10 years B2B or Healthcare Sales with 5 years experience selling Medical device or medical capital equipment Nice to Have - Desired/Preferred Qualifications

5+ years selling to Interventional cardiology and/or radiology, hospital/Cath Lab setting, vascular surgery, or EO Ability to proactively seek and secure new business opportunities Experience in a customer-focused, competitive selling environment; medical sales preferred Full understanding of the hospital sales process Ability to quickly learn product knowledge and apply it in live cases Passion for new technologies and bringing innovative solutions to the market Strong ability to build relationships with decision-makers and stakeholders High learning agility and adaptability to new technologies and market conditions Business planning skills Ability to coordinate multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines Presentation skills and ability to work independently and drive results Knowledge of OR, hospital, and physician office protocol/conduct Ability to teach and educate medical personnel and support staff PC literacy (e.g., iPad, Salesforce) and Microsoft Office proficiency Top performance indicators (e.g., President’s Club) desirable Physical Job Requirements

The base salary range for this role in Chicago, IL is approximately $58,400.00-$63,200.00. The role is eligible for a Sales Incentive Plan (SIP) with potential for additional incentive compensation based on goals.
