Bachelor’s degree in business administration, information technology, information security, or a related field. 7+ years of experience in reviewing, drafting, managing and negotiating a wide variety of contracts and contract language, with a strong emphasis on software licensing agreements, information security, service level agreements, capital equipment agreements, interoperability, professional services agreements and artificial intelligence. 3+ years of experience in a management role Experience with cybersecurity and privacy laws/regulations/guidance, including the FDA Postmarket Management of Cybersecurity in Medical Devices, the NIST Framework for Improving Critical Infrastructure Cybersecurity, the DOD Risk Management Framework, GDPR, CCPA, and SOC 2. Foundational understanding of technical concepts related to information technology, network management, information security, privacy, and AI. Responsibilities

Lead complex sourcing initiatives and contract negotiations across a wide range of IT categories. Draft and negotiate capital equipment, software licensing, maintenance and support, and cybersecurity agreements; advise on risks associated with vendor proposed redlines. Review contractual documents to ensure adherence to company policies. Follow standard practices while applying thought leadership to develop strategies and solve challenges. Exercise judgement in selecting and adapting methods for obtaining solutions, taking new perspectives on existing solutions. Execute negotiations with minimal oversight, receiving guidance from legal and management as needed. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives in negotiation and contracting to improve efficiencies, processes and agreements. Support the sourcing process, including product and vendor research, contract risk identification and mitigation, and risk strategy consensus. Present negotiation strategies to internal stakeholders including HealthTrust Senior Leaders and Functional Team members (finance, legal, clinical, portfolio specialists, and others). Demonstrate articulate communication and the ability to tailor messages to the audience. Develop contracting strategy that mitigates risks, addresses member needs, and maximizes outcomes for a diverse member mix. Formulate a clear vision of the strategy, articulate it, and execute steps to achieve it in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. Plan and execute project timelines for assigned categories; maintain contracting work plans and data in the Contract Lifecycle Management system. Demonstrate organizational ability, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects and priorities while maintaining quality. Manage internal communications, facilitate escalations and approvals, and address queries from customers and stakeholders. Negotiate from the other party’s form agreement, when approved, and understand legal concepts and contractual terms.
