Confidential Opportunity : MEP Project Engineer – Seattlw, WA A leading national contractor is seeking an MEP Project Engineer to join their Bellevue, Washington office. This is a key role supporting the delivery of complex commercial projects, with a clear path into Project Manager within 1–3 years. Salary Salary Range : $93,500 – $115,000 annually, plus annual performance bonus, project-based incentives, company vehicle program, and comprehensive benefits. Responsibilities
Coordinate and manage mechanical, electrical, and plumbing scopes on large commercial projects. Review drawings, specifications, and submittals to ensure alignment with project design and other disciplines. Oversee subcontractor administration including scope definition, RFIs, progress tracking, and performance management. Conduct site inspections, assist with commissioning, and track installation quality. Support project start-up activities, scheduling, change management, and reporting. Identify risks related to MEP systems and support proactive solutions. Collaborate with superintendents, project managers, and design teams to drive schedule, quality, and budget performance. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience). 4–6 years of MEP-focused construction experience, ideally as a Project Engineer or similar. Direct experience on large commercial projects such as healthcare facilities, educational campuses, life sciences labs, municipal buildings, or similar. Strong understanding of MEP systems, codes, equipment, and construction methods. Proven ability to manage subcontractors, schedules, and contract documents.
