Anticipate and resolve design conflicts or constructability issues before they reach the field.

Field Support & Coordination

Support the installation of MEP systems in accordance with NAVFAC standards and project specifications.

Work closely with subcontractors, superintendents, and QC managers to ensure proper sequencing and integration with civil, structural, and marine work.

Oversee system testing, inspections, and commissioning alongside commissioning agents and federal inspectors.

Verify compliance with EM 385-1-1 safety protocols and three-phase QC processes.

Project Controls & Procurement

Track and manage procurement of major MEP equipment and materials, including long-lead items.

Monitor vendor deliveries and resolve logistical or supply chain issues.

Collaborate with Project Managers to update cost forecasts, production rates, and schedule progress.

Actively balance field engagement with office documentation, ensuring visibility across all MEP scopes.

Proactively identify clashes between MEP systems and structural/marine elements to protect schedule integrity.

Maintain strong communication with subcontractors, consultants, Navy stakeholders, and commissioning teams.

Uphold the highest standards of safety, quality, and compliance under NAVFAC and DoD oversight.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline.

4+ years of MEP construction experience, ideally on large-scale federal, industrial, or marine projects.

Familiarity with NAVFAC/DoD standards and EM 385-1-1 safety protocols.
