Numiera Therapeutics is seeking a Senior Scientist – Translational Oncology and Metabolic Therapeutics Development to lead advanced preclinical research projects. The successful candidate will design, execute, and interpret experiments exploring metabolic pathways in cancer, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and help translate preclinical findings into therapeutic candidates for clinical development. Responsibilities

Lead preclinical research programs targeting cancer metabolism and metabolic vulnerabilities. Design and implement in vitro and in vivo experiments to evaluate therapeutic efficacy. Analyze complex data sets, prepare reports, and communicate findings to internal teams. Collaborate with medicinal chemistry, pharmacology, and clinical development teams to integrate research into drug development pipelines. Contribute to patent filings, scientific publications, and presentations for regulatory submissions. Mentor junior scientists and support team development initiatives. Qualifications

PhD in Cancer Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or related field. Minimum 5 years of postdoctoral or industry experience in oncology or metabolism research. Expertise in metabolic assays, molecular biology, preclinical models, and data analysis. Strong leadership, project management, and communication skills. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams. Preferred Qualifications

Experience with translational drug discovery and preclinical development pipelines. Peer-reviewed publications in oncology or cancer metabolism. Knowledge of regulatory requirements for preclinical studies. Benefits
