Position Overview Director of Operations
to lead and oversee the performance of 30 Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) locations. The Director of Operations will be responsible for driving operational excellence, maximizing financial performance, ensuring compliance with brand standards, and leading a team of Area and General Managers. This individual will play a key role in executing the company’s growth strategies and delivering an exceptional guest experience across all restaurants.
Key Responsibilities Operational Leadership
Provide leadership, coaching, and direction to Area Managers and General Managers across 30 QSR locations.
Ensure adherence to company policies, brand standards, food safety, and health regulations.
Conduct regular restaurant visits to evaluate operational execution, service quality, and facility standards.
Financial & Business Performance
Drive sales growth, profitability, and operational efficiency across all locations.
Oversee P&L management for all units; monitor KPIs including labor, food costs, and other controllable expenses.
Develop and execute strategies to maximize revenue and margin performance.
Recruit, train, and mentor high-performing Area and General Managers.
Establish clear performance expectations, conduct evaluations, and implement development plans.
Foster a culture of accountability, recognition, and continuous improvement.
Guest Experience & Brand Standards
Champion a guest-first culture that ensures exceptional service and consistent product quality.
Lead initiatives to improve customer satisfaction and resolve escalated service issues.
Partner with Marketing and Operations to support brand campaigns, promotions, and local store marketing.
Growth & Development
Support the opening of new units, remodels, and refresh projects.
Partner with Development and Training teams to ensure new restaurants open on time and are operationally ready.
Implement scalable processes and best practices to support future growth.
Qualifications
7+ years of progressive multi-unit management experience, with at least 3 years at the Director or Regional level in QSR, fast casual, or franchise operations.
Proven success managing 20+ locations and leading large, diverse teams.
Strong P&L and financial management skills with the ability to analyze data and implement corrective actions.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and people-development skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment with frequent travel.
