Overview
Radiation Oncology Faculty Positions, Mount Auburn Hospital The Department of Radiation Oncology at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC) in Boston is seeking faculty members to join a vibrant practice at Mount Auburn Hospital in Cambridge, Massachusetts, steps from Harvard University. Candidates are being sought for both Site Director and staff positions for the radiation oncology program at Mt. Auburn. The cancer center has equipment currently capable of IMRT, SRS, SRT, SBRT and HDR. There is excellent dosimetry and physics support. There are outstanding medical and surgical oncology programs at Mt. Auburn Hospital. Mt. Auburn will see a significant increase in cancer care as part of the new Dana Farber-BIDMC cancer collaboration. You will be part of a very strong and innovative academic faculty group that provides comprehensive radiation therapy services including CyberKnife SRT, HDR and LDR brachytherapy, total body irradiation, and radioablation of cardiac arrhythmogenic foci. You will work in a very collegial and supportive environment. Responsibilities will include clinical care and teaching/research activity as appropriate with an academic appointment at Harvard Medical School at the rank of Instructor, Assistant Professor, or Associate Professor, to be determined based on experience and qualifications. This role is an employment model position in Harvard Medical Faculty Physicians at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. Employment would start in the summer of 2026.
Responsibilities & Qualifications The applicant will be expected to meet the following requirements for employment:
Massachusetts Medical License
New Hampshire Medical License
Board Certification in Radiation Oncology/eligibility within one year of employment
Individual Federal DEA
