Eaton’s Corporate Sector division is currently seeking a Senior Attorney, Commercial Contracts. The expected annual salary range for this role is $123,000-$182,000 a year and this position is eligible for a variable incentive program. This position can be based out of Arden NC, Beachwood OH, Davenport IA, Moon Township PA, Raleigh NC, or Waukesha WI with hybrid work available. As a Senior Attorney, Commercial Contracts you will play a pivotal role in navigating diverse and rapidly evolving markets. You will lead contracting efforts by drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and advising on a wide range of agreements—including MPAs/MSAs, SOWs, NDAs, and joint development agreements—while securing advantageous terms and mitigating legal and commercial risks. You will collaborate with internal teams such as Sales, Operations, Credit, HR, Finance, Insurance, and specialized legal practice areas including Business Counsel, IP, and EHS. This role emphasizes high emotional intelligence and the ability to tailor guidance to various stakeholders. You’ll be part of a Legal team that values continuous learning, process and policy improvement, and courageous collaboration across the organization. Experience in dispute resolution is beneficial and offers insight into downstream effects of contract negotiations. Within the Contracts Organization, you’ll join an ambitious team dedicated to mastering both the art of negotiation and the technical expertise of contracting. What will make you successful?

They should bring experience negotiating commercial contracts efficiently while navigating various commercial and legal risk areas across multiple markets/industries. Basic Qualifications Juris Doctor (J.D.) required and licensed to practice in one of the 50 U.S. States. Minimum 7 years of experience as a licensed attorney. Minimum of 7 years negotiating commercial contracts. No relocation offered; candidates must be located within a 50 mile radius of Arden NC, Beachwood OH, Davenport IA, Moon Township PA, Raleigh NC or Waukesha WI to be considered.
