Direct global import and export operations to ensure full compliance with U.S. and international trade laws, regulations, and agency requirements. Serve as the primary liaison with government authorities, foreign agencies, senior leadership, and internal counsel on global trade matters. Develop, implement, and oversee customs compliance programs including provider management, audits, classification databases, valuation, and recordkeeping. Lead and train the global trade compliance team, managing personnel, service providers, special customs procedures, and responses to government inquiries or audits. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with at least 7 years in global trade compliance; Licensed Customs Broker with expertise in HTS classification, valuation, and country of origin. Proven leadership with 5+ years of people management, skilled in guiding cross-functional teams and fostering strong business partnerships. Experienced in trade systems and platforms, including implementation, along with managing brokerage and service provider selection processes. Action-oriented and customer-focused professional, recognized for delivering high-quality service and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders. Seniority level
